CyberNINES president Todd Streicher has long been an advocate for cybersecurity in Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest. He is a founding member of the State of Wisconsin’s Cyber Strategy and Planning Work Group, which addresses Wisconsin’s critical public and private infrastructure cybersecurity, and a board member of Wisconsin Aerospace Partners, which supports organizations engaged with the aerospace industry. Last year, he joined the Great Lakes Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and was quickly invited to become a member of their board of directors. And this year, he has been further distinguished by becoming the chapter’s Events Committee Chairperson.

One of Todd’s key responsibilities as chair is spearheading the chapter’s fifteenth annual meeting this summer on July 24 in Itasca, Illinois. “The annual meeting is one of our biggest events,” he said, “and we look forward to a good turnout.” Topics for the evening’s presentation will include contracting, CMMC, small business, Midwest manufacturing, innovation, and more, as well as a golf outing earlier in the day. NDIA Great Lakes cohosts the meeting with W.S. Darley & Co. and the Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI). NDIA is a trade association encompassing the U.S. government and its private industry partners comprising the defense industrial base. Since its inception in 1919, NDIA has promoted national security by bringing government and industry leaders together to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and encourage community involvement in national defense. The Great Lakes Chapter was founded in 2009 and serves northeastern Illinois, northwestern Indiana, and all of Wisconsin.
